When East meets West...

We go in search of New Zealand's freshest ingredients to create new, exciting dishes like Whitebait Foo Yong, or Sichuan Style Pan-Fried Venison, as well as the more traditional Chinese cuisine.

The art of haute cuisine differs from everyday Chinese cooking in the selection and quality of ingredients combined with the labour-intensive cooking methods needed to produce the celebrated dishes.

So whether it's Nelson fresh salmon, Westport whitebait or even North Island duck that's required for a dish, the Yangtze is committed to bringing the best of both worlds to you.
